SOCIETIES AND GROUPS IN SOCIETY SOLVE PROBLEMS IN A VARIETY OF WAYS
We went to the firewisekids.co.nz website and learned these things:
Payton: A smoke alarm is a good idea because it tells you there is a fire. Too many plugs are smoking.
Tyra: A hazard is there is no guard around the fire. Give adults matches and lighters.
Hayden: You don't want your house on fire. Don't use a broken fan!
Kingston: Some kids found some matches and burnt the house down.
Kenana: You go to a safe spot to get safe.
Zach: When there is a fire, duck down and get out!
Joshua: When Boofhead hurt his head you had to check batteries all the time. Do it properly!
Jordie: He was playing with a match, and his tail caught fire which got the house on fire.
Danayla: Never let electric go on long or it will catch on fire.
Ebony-Louise: If you touch a lighter you can actually burn yourself.
Taylah: That if you find smokes or lighters or other things that are fire things it is dangerous.
Marilyn: If you find lighters, you give it to the adults.
Tameika: If there's a fire and you can't get out the door, jump out a window.
Amber: If there's a fire you get down and get out.
